Corporate Security Engineer (Fintech)

Location: United States (Remote)

Salary: $140K–$190K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, automation, and optimization of corporate security infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and maintain stable, change-managed, machine-readable enterprise configurations.
• Design endpoint security, vulnerability management, SaaS security, data protection, DLP, and secure data-sharing controls.
• Collaborate with IT, Infrastructure, and Security teams to maintain critical corporate systems and improve security processes through automation.
• Develop and run incident response and disaster recovery plans, including tabletop exercises.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in enterprise security within cloud environments.
• Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Ability to lead security projects and deliver measurable improvements through automation using Python, Go, and/or TypeScript.
• Understanding of networking, authentication standards, and security frameworks including MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and CIS benchmarks.
• Hands-on experience with ZTNA and DLP solutions such as Netskope or Zscaler.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n.
• Familiarity with Node, TypeScript, NestJS, microservices, Kubernetes, AWS, and React Native.
