What you will do
- Contribute to innovative software used in aircraft design, testing, and optimization.
- Develop software solutions supporting the design and manufacturing of physical and in-service aircraft.
- Participate in research, design, development, testing, implementation, and application support.
- Work with engineers and IT specialists to provide solutions to business needs.
- Build technical expertise through academic study, vocational training, and rotations across engineering departments including Flight Physics, Fuel and Landing Gear Testing, and Digital Airframe.
Requirements
- Three A-Levels at grade C/4 or above, preferably in Maths, Sciences, or IT; or an IT/Digital T Level at Merit or above; or an IT/Digital BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma at MMM; or equivalent qualifications or experience.
- At least four GCSEs including English Language and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
- Applicants with an undergraduate degree in computing or IT are not eligible for this funded programme.
- Some previous coding and/or Linux or cloud experience, with an interest in solving mathematical or scientific problems through coding.
- Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, manage problems, learn proactively, and develop independently.
- Must have current legal authorisation to work in the United Kingdom for the full duration of the programme. Candidates must also meet levy-funding eligibility requirements and undergo a BPSS check; UK SC security clearance or export-control approval may be required.
