Solutions Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; minimum 3 days per week in the Manchester office

What you will do

• Monitor platform operations, identify bottlenecks, and improve resilience, performance, and system robustness.
• Manage back-office support contracts and engineers, including regular review meetings.
• Work with business partners to capture requirements, lead discussions, and develop features that improve user experience and business value.
• Advance REST APIs and contribute to new features for business travel booking platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues with business stakeholders while maintaining system reliability and uptime.

Requirements

• Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core Web API.
• SQL development experience and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development, JIRA, and Software Development Lifecycle best practices.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, analytical problem-solving ability, and experience leading organized, collaborative discussions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• UK citizenship or at least a 5-year UK passport is required.

Nice to have

• RPG development background.
• Familiarity with financial processes and terminology.
• Interest in developing AI-related opportunities and solutions.
