SR Data Scientist (Rental GA4)

Location: Chicago, Illinois; this position will be based in Chicago.

Salary: $112,710.00–$183,140.00 per year

What you will do

• Transform GA4 behavioral and clickstream data into insights that improve site performance, digital investments, Rental revenue, and customer growth.
• Define, track, and analyze core site metrics, conversion funnels, and digital customer journeys.
• Identify opportunities to improve engagement, lead generation, product utilization, and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, product owners, and the Rental and Utilization Strategy team on the BI and analytics roadmap.
• Gather business requirements, define KPIs and metrics, and deliver accurate analysis for strategic and operational decisions.
• Develop scalable measurement and analytics solutions using machine learning, Python, SQL, GA4, and BigQuery.

Requirements

• Six or more years of professional experience in quantitative analysis or data management with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; alternatively, a master's degree with one to three years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in BI tools, Python, SQL, GA4, and BigQuery.
• Experience with AWS services, cloud ELT/ETL, and Snowflake.
• Knowledge of machine learning, data visualization, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Strong analytical, consultative, interpersonal, communication, and data storytelling skills.
• Visa sponsorship is not available, and relocation is not available.

Nice to have

• Advanced statistical methods including regression, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, and statistical process control.
• Practical machine learning experience with clustering, logistic regression, random forests, SVMs, or neural networks.
• Experience with NumPy, SciPy, pandas, data lakes, and automation techniques.
• Advanced technical problem-solving skills and continuous learning in analytics.
