Data Scientist, Level 3 (AI)

Location: Bellevue, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, or Seattle, United States. Office attendance is expected 4+ days per week under hirify.global's default-together policy.

Base salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually in Zone C, $112,000–$167,000 annually in Zone B, or $118,000–$176,000 annually in Zone A, plus RSU eligibility.

What you will do

• Apply quantitative analysis, data mining, and statistical modeling to produce actionable insights for product and business decisions.
• Drive decisions that improve how products are created, executed, and adopted.
• Design, implement, and track core product metrics.
• Identify product trends, opportunities, and performance patterns through data modeling.
• Create visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, product marketers, and designers while using AI tools to develop scalable data solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of post-Bachelor's quantitative analysis and data science experience, or a Master's degree in a technical field.
• Experience with data modeling, product metrics, statistical analysis, and communicating insights through dashboards and reports.
• Ability to initiate and complete projects with minimal guidance and collaborate across functions.
• Understanding of hirify.globalchat and strong product sense.
• Ability to work from one of the listed United States locations and in an office 4+ days per week.

Nice to have

• At least 1 year of experience with SQL or similar big data query languages.
• At least 1 year of experience with Python or R.
• Experience with inferential methods, causal methods, A/B testing, or statistical modeling.
• Advanced degree in applied mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, or a related field.
• Experience in social media, online advertising, digital media, mobile technology, machine learning, or methodological research.
