Natural ADABAS Developer

Location: Fully remote within the United States

Salary: $94,150–$135,013 annually

What you will do

• Design, code, modify, and maintain applications and modules using Natural with ADABAS.
• Analyze system requirements, information flows, input and output requirements, and solution alternatives across multiple systems.
• Develop and maintain software processes for file transfers using Connect:Direct.
• Support patches, upgrades, deployment planning, production migration, and software compliance.
• Participate in code reviews and prepare program documentation, operating instructions, and user guides.

Requirements

• Current Top Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with the SDLC process and large-scale applications in mainframe or client-server environments.
• Experience developing in both batch and online environments and defining requirements with customers.
• Ability to design solutions across multiple systems or subsystems and collaborate with software development and management personnel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with IBM Connect:Direct, IBM MQ, Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Teams.
• Programming experience in Natural with ADABAS.
• Experience with Software AG NaturalONE and its Eclipse-based development environment.
