Quality Control Manager

Location: Hybrid role in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada

What you will do

• Lead testing, verification, validation, inspections, and quality control activities for the local business line.
• Support engineering and cross-functional teams with test protocols, product and solution inspections, and design improvements.
• Ensure accurate quality reporting in line with hirify.global, customer, and regulatory standards.
• Analyze customer-focused quality issues, lead root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Promote quality training, safe work practices, HSE compliance, and a strong quality culture.
• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while improving organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant technical diploma or technology degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in quality control, testing, or engineering in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with inspection, testing, and validation methods for products and systems.
• Knowledge of ISO, IEC, and other quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, production, suppliers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis, continuous improvement methodologies, and HSE requirements.
