Lead, Program Management - Maritime Acoustic Systems

Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States; onsite schedule with a 9/80 work arrangement—nine workdays every two weeks and every other Friday off.

Salary range: $127,000–$226,000 in selected locations including Greater D.C. and $133,000–$247,000 in other listed locations.

What you will do

• Direct all phases of maritime acoustic systems programs from inception through completion.
• Manage cost, schedule, technical performance, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow objectives.
• Apply Earned Value Management to development and production programs.
• Coordinate contracts, contract changes, proposals, business plans, statements of work, specifications, budgets, and financial terms.
• Serve as the primary customer contact and lead program reviews covering cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Lead technical, manufacturing, and administrative personnel while identifying growth opportunities and resolving program issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of relevant experience, graduate degree with at least 7 years, or 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience leading a highly visible, fast-paced program.
• Experience with ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Active US Secret Security Clearance required; security clearances may only be granted to US citizens.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, team-building, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Program management experience with international customers or a major prime contractor.
• PMP certification.
