What you will do

• Track partner-nation defense budgets, program lines, procurement plans, and sustainment funding for priority autonomous combat aircraft markets.
• Maintain competitor profiles, award trackers, product comparisons, and teaming and industrial-partnership maps.
• Produce recurring country and regional analyses covering funding, timing, competitors, acquisition pathways, and industrial expectations.
• Research defense budgets, white papers, legislative records, procurement notices, open-source reporting, and commercial market data.
• Maintain a structured, queryable international knowledge base using AI-enabled tools.
• Provide timely intelligence for pursuits, campaign reviews, proposals, and leadership decisions.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in international defense budget analysis, competitive intelligence, market research, business development analysis, or related defense or aerospace work.
• Knowledge of international defense budgets, public budget documentation, competitive analysis, and market research.
• Familiarity with FMS, DCS, hybrid acquisition pathways, approval processes, disclosure, and exportability considerations.
• Strong research, data-handling, analytical writing, briefing, and recurring-production skills.
• Experience using AI tools to organize and maintain structured knowledge resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in international affairs, security studies, economics, finance, political science, business, engineering, or a related field; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance and travel domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience in defense business development, capture, or strategy.
• Exposure to large UAV, unmanned, or autonomous aircraft programs.
• Experience with offsets, co-production, or industrial-participation frameworks.
• Regional expertise or language skills relevant to Europe, the Middle East, or Asia-Pacific.
• Familiarity with foreign disclosure, security cooperation, embassy or country-team coordination, or interagency advocacy.
