Company

hirify.global develops AI and autonomy software for edge systems operating in complex and dynamic mission environments.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain stable integrated autonomy implementations, reference configurations, reusable test fixtures, and end-to-end examples.
  • Partner with component teams to maintain integration baselines and resolve workflow, test harness, and extensibility gaps.
  • Develop automated software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop tests across autonomy components.
  • Maintain the integration layer between mission autonomy software and platform software for deployment.
  • Investigate cross-system failures, reproduce and instrument issues, isolate responsible layers, and coordinate defect resolution.
  • Support deployment to representative hardware, including configuration, telemetry, interface troubleshooting, and lab or field debugging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional, research, internship, or substantial project experience building, testing, and debugging nontrivial C++ software for perception, planning, robotics, or autonomous systems.
  • Experience with modern C++, concurrency patterns, data races, deadlocks, and lifetime errors.
  • Working experience with Python and practical experience developing and debugging software on Linux.
  • Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, testing, debugging, and maintainable software design.
  • Experience with build and dependency management systems such as Conan or Nix.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in AI, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Breadth across perception, localization, and planning, including multi-agent autonomy.
  • Experience applying VLMs or VLAs to planning, reasoning, tool use, or autonomous decision-making.
  • Experience delivering fielded, real-time, safety-critical, or resource-constrained autonomous systems.
  • Experience with simulation, performance profiling, or distributed systems.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, robotics, and real-time autonomous systems.
  • Collaborate with component and Flight Operations teams on integrated mission capabilities.
  • Contribute to reference integrations, deployment workflows, documentation, runbooks, and Pilot training materials.
