Pharmacy Coordinator (Transplant)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Base salary: $21–$26 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary contact for transplant patients throughout their medication journey.
• Coordinate medication fulfillment, refills, discharge medications, and maintenance medications.
• Help patients access copay assistance and explain medication costs.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and insurers to resolve prior authorizations and other issues.
• Maintain patient records, case files, and activity logs while following compliance requirements.
• Provide medication education and support adherence for pre- and post-transplant care.

Requirements

• Active Mississippi Board of Pharmacy licensure with no disciplinary action.
• High school diploma.
• Pharmacy technician or healthcare experience; two or more years is often preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate with pharmacy staff.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience with PioneerRx.
• Retail specialty pharmacy experience.
• Experience with URAC or ACHC accreditation.
• Understanding of transplant care and medical terminology.
