Staff Pharmacist (Transplant Pharmacy)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; onsite pharmacy role. The pharmacy operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a 40-hour workweek and additional flexibility during site startup.

Anticipated base salary: $119,000–$155,000 USD per year, plus potential incentive compensation and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge and maintain pharmacy permits, licenses, registrations, and controlled substance records.
• Lead the Atlanta pharmacy startup, including licensure, permitting, facility and equipment setup, pharmacy system implementation, wholesaler setup, inventory, and accreditation readiness.
• Develop workflows, policies, procedures, quality assurance programs, and inspection and audit readiness.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate pharmacists, technicians, interns, and support staff.
• Oversee prescription intake, clinical screening, verification, dispensing, shipping, patient support, immunizations, and point-of-sale transactions.
• Manage inventory, vendors, budget, billing, reimbursement, performance indicators, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• PharmD from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
• Active Georgia pharmacist license with no disciplinary action and eligibility to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge.
• At least 5 years of pharmacy experience, including at least 3 years in leadership or management.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; PioneerRx proficiency is preferred.

• Specialty or transplant pharmacy experience.

• Previous Pharmacist-in-Charge experience.
