AI Validation Engineer (ADAS)

What you will do

• Translate product, systems, customer, safety, and regulatory requirements into validation strategies, scenarios, metrics, coverage requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop verification strategies and test suites for ADAS and L2 autonomy functions across simulated and physical testing environments.
• Build and use Python-based evaluation tooling, pipelines, behavioural metrics, and automated validation execution.
• Analyse data and communicate risks, findings, and evidence to Product, Safety, Release, and Autonomy Engineering stakeholders.
• Coordinate data, simulation, and evaluation dependencies so validation operates reliably at scale.
• For the M4 scope, provide people leadership and coordinate validation delivery; for TC4, provide senior technical ownership as an individual contributor.

Requirements

• Understanding of how automotive companies and OEMs develop and validate ADAS or L2 autonomy products.
• Experience translating customer, safety, regulatory, and product expectations into structured validation strategies.
• Hands-on experience with scenarios, metrics, test suites, evaluation pipelines, or data-analysis workflows.
• Professional Python experience and comfort with SQL or similar large-scale analysis tools.
• Experience validating complex systems in simulation, the real world, or both.
• Clear communication, strong documentation, and ownership of ambiguous problems from concept through evidence and recommendation.

Nice to have

• Experience with ML, computer vision, motion planning, SOTIF, safety validation, or modern AI tooling.
• People leadership or validation-function coordination experience for the M4 scope.

Hiring process

• Recruiter call lasting 25 minutes, followed by a 60-minute hiring manager screen.
• Four hours of deep-dive technical interviews covering systems and domain expertise.
