QA Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid work from Paris or London; relocation package available for Paris

hirify.global is an AI Safety company building a safety, reliability, and optimization layer for AI systems through policy-based testing and enforcement.

What you will do

• Manually test new features and fixes across the web platform and APIs during frequent release cycles.
• Perform exploratory, smoke, regression, and integration testing, focusing on high-risk areas.
• Create concise test plans and checklists and provide clear release feedback.
• Investigate unexpected behavior, isolate root causes, and write reproducible bug reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and product owners to clarify requirements and improve testability.
• Build and integrate automated tests for stable and business-critical flows into CI/CD.

Requirements

• 2+ years of QA automation experience, including building frameworks from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end UI testing and scalable test-suite design.
• Strong Python automation skills using pytest, fixtures, and parametrization.
• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Fluent English is required.
• Experience with AI coding agents and LLM-powered developer tools.

Nice to have

• Experience testing AI or LLM-based products, including non-deterministic outputs, confidence scoring, and edge-case prompts.
• Performance or load testing experience with k6 or Locust.
• Experience with Postman, Insomnia, Yaak, or API contract testing.
• Background in security-aware QA or SOC 2 environments.

Hiring process

• 20-minute introductory call with HR.
• Take-home test assignment followed by a one-hour technical interview with a QA Engineer.
• 45-minute final call with the CEO and Head of Engineering.
