Graduate DevOps Engineer in Test - Quality Engineering (Consultant) 2027

Location: Birmingham, Bristol, Inverness, London, Manchester, Treforest – Cardiff, and Woking, UK. Hybrid working across company offices, client sites, and home; working from home 100% of the time is not permitted. Flexibility to travel and work at different locations during the week is required.

Salary: £35,000 per year plus additional benefits.

What you will do

• Work with modern testing tools across different customer projects.
• Develop expertise in quality engineering and next-generation software testing services.
• Collaborate with DevOps specialists across the wider group.
• Build knowledge of AI through interaction with specialist teams.
• Support technology solutions for clients across multiple industries and sites.

Requirements

• Obtained or currently studying toward a minimum 2:2 degree, completed before the start date.
• Knowledge of scripting and development in an object-oriented language such as Java, JavaScript, AngularJS, Perl, Python, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and cloud solutions such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools such as Selenium, Tosca, or EggPlant.
• Awareness of CI/CD, server configuration, and automation tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, Jenkins, or TeamCity.
• Knowledge of generative and agentic AI techniques, particularly prompt engineering.
