Partner Solutions Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City; on-site

Salary: CAD $135,000–$200,000 per year, with the ability to earn overtime.

What you will do

• Own 10–15+ concurrent partner integrations across utility billing, collections, water and metering, payments, lease guarantees, and other property-tech categories.
• Scope requirements, design integration approaches, coordinate development, manage testing, and deliver integrations through go-live and stable long-term operation.
• Act as the technical point of contact for partner engineering and product teams, evaluating APIs, data needs, implementation options, and workarounds.
• Partner with Engineering to identify API gaps, prioritize solutions, and shape data flows and integration architecture.
• Document and standardize integration patterns, manage sandbox environments and test data, and improve internal testing tools.
• Prioritize concurrent launches, escalate blockers, and contribute to partner documentation, API monitoring, certification, and self-service tooling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Partnerships, Integrations, Backend Engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Strong understanding of system architecture fundamentals and APIs, with the ability to read and reason about Python or similar code.
• Experience working directly with external technical stakeholders, including vendor engineering or customer technical teams.
• Ability to manage many concurrent workstreams, competing deadlines, dependencies, and hard go-live dates.
• Strong strategic judgment when evaluating integration tradeoffs, prioritizing solutions, and deciding between partner pushback and custom development.
• Excellent communication, ownership, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
