Partner Solutions Engineer (AI/Education Technology)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 annually plus bonus.

What you will do

• Own partner integration projects from technical discovery and requirements mapping through solution design, testing, launch, and post-implementation support.
• Design and deliver SSO and rostering integrations using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LTI 1.3, OneRoster, and Ed-Fi.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, API, rostering, and data exchange issues using logs, API tools, documentation, and structured testing.
• Guide partner development and implementation teams, translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and coordinate escalations with internal teams.
• Create technical documentation and improve integration processes, tooling, APIs, and product capabilities.
• Use AI-assisted development, data analysis, scripting, and financial modeling to prototype solutions, automate recurring work, and evaluate integration initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Four or more years of experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, systems integration, implementation, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, CSV, and identity and access management protocols including SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
• Experience using AI-assisted or agentic development tools and analyzing structured data with spreadsheets, SQL, business intelligence tools, Python, JavaScript, or comparable methods.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple systems, translate requirements into solution designs, and manage multiple integrations concurrently.
• Must be based in the United States and willing to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience in education technology, K-12 data systems, identity platforms, SIS, LMS, or application rostering.
• Familiarity with OneRoster, Ed-Fi, LTI 1.3, education data privacy, and security practices.
• Experience with AI-enabled automations, multi-step agentic workflows, data visualization, forecasting, pricing analysis, or ROI modeling.
• Experience with Salesforce, Linear, API testing tools, diagnostic tools, or relevant cloud, identity, security, API, or interoperability certifications.
