Technician 4, Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing tools and tool sets.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and restore tool uptime quickly and efficiently.
• Partner with engineering, vendors, and other groups to improve reliability, reduce MTBF and MTTR, increase MTTPM, and resolve yield issues.
• Prepare data and documentation for daily and weekly pass-down meetings.
• Read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, vacuum diagrams, flow charts, OEM manuals, and repair guides.
• Recommend process and equipment improvements while following safety and clean-room procedures.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in electronics, industrial manufacturing, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least two years of hands-on equipment maintenance experience in semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and vacuum systems.
• Experience maintaining semiconductor tools such as PVD, CVD, ALD, RIE, IBE, IBD, dry etch, scanners, steppers, metrology, wet etch, electroplating, CMP, wafer cleaning, and coating and developing equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment, interpret complex technical documentation, use Microsoft Office, and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively, prioritize work, solve problems analytically, and comply with safety and clean-room protocols.
