Transcon Agent (Logistics)

Salary: $22.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate smooth and timely shipment processing, including tracking and tracing shipments.
• Enter operational data accurately and communicate proactively with internal and external customers.
• Review files, complete billing, send charges, manage destination charges, and resolve billing disputes.
• Post financial transactions, monitor billing and accounting reports, and close files properly.
• Maintain clean, auditable financial records and support audit readiness through accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, export regulations, SOPs, and KPIs while supporting team coverage through cross-training.

Requirements

• Local applicants only for the Brisbane, California location.
• Proficiency with software applications and mainframe systems, including 10-key data entry by touch.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and identify and implement process improvements.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-stress environment and willingness to work overtime.
• Strong understanding of export compliance.
• Achievement of 52 hours of training per year, including mandatory training.

Nice to have

• Certified Export Clearance Specialist certification.
• Dangerous Goods—Ground and Air, IATA/FIATA, Export Compliance Specialist, Customs Broker, Sales, or Transition and Implementation certifications.
