Pediatric Clinical Faculty (Part Time) (Nursing)

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii, USA; teaching is onsite in a clinical setting.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on the course credit hours.

What you will do

• Teach pediatric nursing students in clinical settings with clinical partners.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision while students deliver nursing care to children and families.
• Evaluate student performance, document feedback, and provide remediation when needed.
• Develop clinical assignments aligned with student knowledge, competencies, and learning needs.
• Grade coursework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork, and other written work.
• Coordinate with clinical agencies, course coordinators, deans, and assistant deans regarding student and agency matters.

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Hawaii.
• At least two years of recent registered nurse experience within the last five years in pediatric nursing or the area of instruction.
• An Illinois RN license is required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.

• Teaching or precepting experience.
