Location: Sunnyvale, California, USA; hybrid working model combining in-person collaboration with remote work.

Salary: $276,100–$311,400 annually, plus equity.

hirify.global develops an end-to-end AI platform for autonomous driving, enabling vehicles to learn from real-world experience and support automation from L2+ through L4.

What you will do

  • Translate product, systems, and safety requirements into validation strategies, scenarios, metrics, coverage requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Validate L2+ feature-level driving behaviours and new AI Driver capabilities in simulation and real-world environments.
  • Evaluate interactions between automated-driving systems and human drivers.
  • Build Python-based evaluation tooling, pipelines, test suites, and scalable data-analysis workflows.
  • Analyse results and communicate risks, findings, and release evidence to Product, Safety, Release, and Autonomy Engineering stakeholders.
  • Coordinate data, simulation, and evaluation dependencies while providing technical direction as an individual contributor.

Requirements

  • Experience validating autonomous-driving, robotics, or closely related intelligent products, particularly learned or adaptive behaviours.
  • Hands-on experience building scenarios, metrics, test suites, evaluation pipelines, or data-analysis workflows.
  • Professional Python experience and comfort with SQL or similar large-scale analysis tools.
  • Experience validating complex systems in simulation, the real world, or both.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, document decisions, and own ambiguous problems through evidence and recommendations.
  • Must work from or be based near Sunnyvale, California, in a hybrid arrangement.

Nice to have

  • Experience with machine learning, computer vision, motion planning, SOTIF, safety validation, or modern AI tooling.
  • Direct automotive OEM experience.
