Simulation Quality Automation Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; onsite five days a week. Domestic relocation assistance is available, and visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and reusable utilities using Python, C++, or comparable languages.
• Create unit, integration, system, regression, performance, reliability, SIL, and HIL tests for simulation components and workflows.
• Build regression suites for scenario execution, runtime services, APIs, asset workflows, rendering outputs, sensors, and platform integrations.
• Integrate simulation tests into CI/CD pipelines, build gates, packaging, artifact, and release workflows.
• Implement test data, fixtures, mocks, repeatable environments, metrics, dashboards, reports, and automated release evidence.
• Partner with software, rendering, digital twin, robotics, controls, and platform engineers on testing, defect analysis, and quality improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering, quality engineering, or test automation experience; relevant academic, research, internship, or project experience may be considered.
• Software development or test automation experience with Python, C++, C#, Java, or a comparable language.
• Experience with automated, unit, integration, and regression testing, CI/CD, defect tracking, requirements traceability, and release-quality practices.
• Experience with Linux, Git, scripting, containers, logs, debugging, and test reporting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work onsite full-time at the Irving, Texas office five days per week; visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SIL, HIL, simulation systems, robotics, digital twins, real-time software, or embedded integration.
• Knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, cloud environments, performance testing, or observability.
• Experience with NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim, Unreal Engine, ROS2, Gazebo, AirSim, CARLA, or comparable simulation tools.
