Software Engineer in Test (Humanoid Robotics)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain manual and automated regression test suites focused on integration stability.
• Test teleoperation systems and action-sequencing applications, including physical hardware-in-the-loop setups and real-time robotic test runs.
• Develop automated and manual testing strategies for VR and Unity-based simulation and operator teleoperation applications.
• Prepare detailed test execution reports for major milestones and releases, documenting coverage and communicating quality status.
• Identify SQA process bottlenecks and testing gaps, improving execution efficiency and system reliability.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in software QA engineering, test automation, or software development, including shipped and supported product releases.
• Hands-on experience with hardware-in-the-loop manual testing, physical test setup manipulation, and live sequencing execution in robotics, automotive, or embedded systems.
• Strong test automation skills with Python, C#, or a similar language, including required experience automating HTTP and WebSocket APIs.
• Experience testing LLM/VLM systems through manual prompting, API layers, and quality assessment metrics.
• Experience testing VR and Unity-based applications, simulation software, or interactive 3D environments using both automated and manual strategies.
• Experience with functional, integration, and regression testing, defect lifecycle management, Jira or similar tracking systems, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Nice to have

• Experience testing real-time control systems or low-latency teleoperation hardware and software.
• Familiarity with UI/UX and backend validation for workflow sequencing or orchestration applications.
• Operational familiarity with Linux development environments and advanced shell scripting.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis for complex cross-functional system failures.
