What you will do

• Own the PLM technology platform end to end, ensuring stable, secure, compliant operations across the product lifecycle.
• Define and execute the PLM platform strategy and roadmap with R&D, Quality, and enterprise IT stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into PLM solutions with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
• Lead platform enhancements, integrations, upgrades, modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage vendors, service delivery, budgets, and related technology services.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing technology team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive IT or digital technology experience supporting R&D, engineering, or product development organizations.
• Strong experience managing PLM platforms, including ownership, configuration, integrations, and upgrades.
• Knowledge of regulated product development, design controls, change management, and data traceability.
• Experience with people leadership, vendor management, budgets, and service-level agreements.
• English proficiency required; up to 10–20% international travel may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical devices, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of PLM integrations with ERP, QMS, CAD, and manufacturing systems.
• Experience with cloud-based PLM architectures, enterprise data governance, digital transformation, and global adoption initiatives.
• PLM, IT service management, or project management certifications.
