Bond & Specialty Underwriting Professional Development Program (BSI UPDP) Internship

Location: Braintree, Massachusetts, United States. The internship runs for approximately 10–12 weeks from late May or early June through mid-August. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. now and in the future.

Salary: $25.00–$26.00 per hour

What you will do

• Complete challenging, meaningful project work and core assignments during the internship.
• Develop practical knowledge of insurance underwriting, sales, and marketing with support from a designated coach.
• Learn to use modern analytical and artificial intelligence tools and platforms.
• Apply critical thinking to evaluate the quality, accuracy, and limitations of AI-assisted outputs.
• Participate in executive speaker sessions, networking events, and the Rising Senior Intern Symposium.

Requirements

• Pursuing or having obtained a bachelor's degree is required.
• Preferred fields include business administration, economics, finance, liberal arts with a business focus, management, marketing, risk management, and insurance.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
