Quality & Compliance Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Tonawanda, New York, United States. Must live within 50 miles of the posted location.

Salary: $21.14–$29.59 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Review customs entries and shipment documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Verify tariff classifications and correct entry discrepancies using approved databases, SOPs, tariff resources, and government websites.
• Audit shipments processed through automated systems and investigate ABI errors and Census warnings for U.S. Customs and Border Protection acceptance.
• Collect and maintain customer compliance documentation and contact customers regarding missing or incomplete information.
• Ensure shipments subject to Other Government Agency requirements comply with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Provide feedback, coaching, training, customer service, and process improvement support to internal teams and customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of business or customer service experience.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must live within 50 miles of the Tonawanda, New York location.
