Staff Attorney II – Sr Counsel (multi-level)

Location: Hybrid in Memphis, TN; Pittsburgh, PA; or Plano, TX. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of the selected office and work onsite up to several times per week.

Salary: $8,452.14–$14,368.63 per month for Staff Attorney II in Memphis; $13,169.66–$23,046.90 per month for Sr. Counsel in Memphis; $8,896.99–$15,124.88 per month for Staff Attorney II in Plano or Pittsburgh; and $13,862.80–$24,259.90 per month for Sr. Counsel in Plano or Pittsburgh.

What you will do

• Provide legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries.
• Advise on compliance with federal, state, local, and international laws.
• Participate in litigation matters.
• Handle complex domestic and global commercial transactions.
• Support corporate clients through legal research, negotiation, communication, and problem solving.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school, or an equivalent degree from a law school outside the United States.
• Admission to the bar or equivalent qualification in a non-U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least four years of experience and demonstrated competency in a relevant area of legal specialization.
• Strong academic record, legal research and writing skills, negotiation skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Residence within 50 miles of the Memphis, Pittsburgh, or Plano office is required, with regular onsite work.

• Experience handling complex commercial transactions domestically and globally.
