Technical Marketing Writer (AI)

Location: Remote US. Travel of up to 10% annually may be required for conferences, off-site meetings, and business events. On-site interviews or in-person onboarding may also be required.

Salary: $136.8K–$182K base salary plus equity.

What you will do

• Write blog posts, guides, video outlines, tutorials, explainers, and how-to content for developers, creators, AI-native builders, and marketers.
• Translate complex video AI concepts such as multimodal video embeddings and video-to-text reasoning into accessible content for different audiences.
• Own SEO and on-page optimization while coordinating with external SEO and web development support.
• Produce technical articles for developer forums, industry publications, and news sites, and support technically accurate email and social copy.
• Partner with product, engineering, and partner marketing to stay current on products, models, APIs, and integrations with Claude, ChatGPT, and MCP servers.
• Monitor competitors and the broader video AI market to improve product positioning and messaging.

Requirements

• Experience writing technical or product content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A portfolio demonstrating the ability to simplify complex technical concepts and adapt writing style to different readers.
• Technical fluency sufficient to read documentation, follow code samples, and participate in engineering discussions.
• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and strong information-structuring skills for guides and tutorials.
• Comfort working across long-form guides, forum posts, social copy, and other content formats.
• Ability to travel up to 10% annually and participate in on-site interviews or in-person onboarding when required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with video, multimodal AI, or computer vision concepts.
• Experience writing about or using Claude, ChatGPT, or MCP servers for non-technical audiences.
• Experience writing for developer communities such as Dev.to, Hacker News, or Reddit.
• Basic familiarity with Git, APIs, or SDKs for independently testing examples.
