TL;DR
Technical Writer (Fintech): Building and scaling public and internal technical documentation for APIs, integrations, and payment management with an accent on docs-as-code workflows, API usability, and self-service support. Focus on enhancing documentation tooling, documenting webhooks and authentication flows, and creating a knowledge hub for merchant integration and troubleshooting.
Location: Hybrid in Malaga, Estepona, or another location in Andalucía, Spain

What you will do
- Update and expand technical guides for merchants and internal teams.
- Enhance API documentation and tooling to improve clarity and usability.
- Explore and implement smart documentation solutions that support self-service during integration and troubleshooting.
- Build and maintain a knowledge hub covering API guides, solutions, integration, and payment management.
- Collaborate with QA, Development, Sales, and Product Management.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing or documentation.
- Strong understanding of docs-as-code workflows and engineering processes.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Experience with Atlassian tools for project management and documentation.
- Thorough understanding of REST APIs and independent experience with Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of webhooks and authentication flows; fluent English required.
Nice to have
- Proficiency with AI tools and their application to documentation workflows.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Magento, PrestaShop, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of payment lifecycles and fintech operations.
- Spanish language skills.
