Product Quality & Reliability Engineer II (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; travel required approximately 20% of the time; relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $90,000–$124,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, apply, revise, maintain, and test product quality and reliability standards aligned with customer expectations.
• Design and implement inspection, testing, and product quality evaluation methods and procedures.
• Develop and implement quality and reliability test plans and perform failure analysis.
• Collect operational and test data, evaluate results, and prepare testing documentation.
• Develop methods, parameters, project methodologies, and project proposals.
• Perform FMECA, document CRAMs, and work with suppliers and engineers on CRAMs test plans and supplier PQP.

Requirements

• Expanded conceptual knowledge in the relevant engineering discipline and the ability to broaden technical capabilities.
• Understanding of key business drivers and their application to assigned work.
• Ability to solve straightforward technical problems using experience, judgment, and established precedents.
• Ability to explain complex information clearly in straightforward situations.
• No supervisory responsibility, but informal guidance to new team members is expected.
• Ability to work in Santa Clara, California, with approximately 20% travel.
