Sr. Manager, Technical Marketing & Applications (DC-DC Power Modules)

Target annual base salary: $220,000–$270,000

What you will do

• Define and execute technical marketing strategy for DC-DC power module portfolios.
• Translate system-level customer requirements into product definitions, roadmaps, and performance targets.
• Work with R&D, engineering, product management, QA, and operations to influence architecture and feature priorities.
• Drive design-in and design-win activities with strategic customers through technical engagement and system-level guidance.
• Provide hands-on application support, including converter design, simulation, lab validation, and hardware debugging.
• Mentor junior engineers and represent the company at customer meetings, conferences, and technical forums.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in power electronics, including switching converters, DC-DC power modules, POL converters, or power management ICs.
• Strong expertise in control loop design, magnetics, system-level power architecture, and laboratory hardware development and debugging.
• Understanding of data center, AI, networking, industrial, or automotive power systems.
• Experience influencing technical decisions, leading cross-functional initiatives, and engaging engineers through executives.
• Business understanding of market dynamics, product positioning, and cost/performance trade-offs.

Nice to have

• Applications engineering or power converter and power module design experience in a semiconductor company.
• Experience with high-density power module integration, advanced packaging, and thermal design.
• Knowledge of PMBus, VR specifications, OCP, or automotive AEC-Q standards.
• Experience supporting hyperscale or Tier-1 customers.
• Experience operating in large organizations with startup-like execution speed.
