Salary: $209,000–$270,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead the discovery, evaluation, and advancement of innovative ideas, technologies, applications, and market opportunities.
• Conduct market analysis, technology benchmarking, competitive intelligence, customer engagement, and trend analysis.
• Build and manage a strategic opportunity pipeline based on customer needs, market dynamics, industry developments, and technology advances.
• Translate market opportunities into product requirements and development initiatives with Product Management, Sales, Engineering Services, R&D, and other stakeholders.
• Influence product strategy, portfolio planning, technology roadmaps, business cases, value propositions, and positioning.
• Support customer adoption, market expansion, revenue growth, technical education, mentoring, standards organizations, and intellectual property development.

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or an applicable discipline.
• 15+ years of experience and working knowledge of electric power systems or equivalent transferable industry experience.
• Recognized leadership and expertise in protection and related industry practices.
• Expertise in protective relaying and control systems, including design, application, coordination, settings development, testing, commissioning, and performance assessment.
• Strong technical training, writing, speaking, documentation, customer service, teamwork, and mentoring skills.
• Willingness to travel as required; satisfactory background check and negative drug test required.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in an engineering discipline.
• Authorship and presentation of technical papers.
• US patents related to the company’s mission.
• Registered Professional Engineer credential.
