Component Solutions Sales Engineer (HVACR)

Location: Farmers Branch, Texas, United States. Requires occasional domestic travel of approximately 10% and international travel of 1–3 weeks annually, including visits to OEM manufacturing sites and manufacturing or headquarters sites in Mexico and Korea.

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Manage projects between LG and HVAC OEM manufacturers and coordinate communication between R&D teams.
• Identify optimal component pairings and help customers qualify compressor opportunities.
• Provide technical and process support during product qualification and reliability activities.
• Manage timelines and deliverables for new compressor applications and lead project activities.
• Perform engineering analyses to quantify cost savings, customer benefits, and design or application risks.
• Prepare technical submittals and presentations and coordinate with vendors and factory engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC compressor design and manufacturing, or HVAC unit design and manufacturing, for residential or commercial air-conditioning or heat-pump products.
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage project-development tasks.
• Competence in analyzing mechanical and electronic systems and leading in team settings.
• Fluent English and strong written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing work.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, with ability to travel domestically and internationally.
