Digital Services Application Engineer (HVAC)

Location: La Vista, Nebraska, United States. Work onsite Monday through Thursday; choose the work location on Fridays. Travel to customer job sites is required, including outdoor work and mechanical or equipment rooms.

Annual base salary: $60,000–$109,340. Incentive eligible; not eligible for sales commission.

What you will do

• Analyze building and energy data to identify meaningful outcomes and prepare consultative customer documentation.
• Lead quarterly or semiannual Technical Strategy Review meetings for Connected Service Agreement customers.
• Apply energy conservation measures to optimize building operations and support sustainability projects.
• Gather and validate facility information through walkthroughs, construction plan reviews, and related assessments.
• Coordinate with account managers, field technicians, and project administrators to deliver service agreements and support sales activities.
• Travel to customer sites and perform work around mechanical equipment, variable weather, moving parts, and heights.

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with energy management systems, building automation systems, HVAC systems, and temperature controls.
• Background in HVAC systems, controls, data analytics, and preferably energy and utility operations.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, manipulating, and clearly presenting technical data.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, work independently, and manage multiple projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent education and experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations is required.
