Software Engineer - Developer Experience, Android

Location: Must be located in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Los Angeles, Seattle, or New York, United States

Salary: $130,600–$192,000 USD per year, plus potential equity grants

What you will do

• Build foundational runtime libraries, build systems, and development tools for hirify.global mobile applications.
• Architect and implement platform components that improve the productivity and reliability of mobile engineers.
• Solve complex mobile engineering challenges used by hundreds of engineers across product teams.
• Partner with engineers, technical product managers, and engineering managers on large cross-functional initiatives.
• Mentor mobile engineers, promote best practices, and strengthen the mobile engineering community.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Android development experience.
• Product mindset applied to platform services and developer experience.
• Ability to work with people, systems, and software.
• Curiosity about system architectures and ability to investigate them deeply.
• Strong organization and written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be located in one of the specified United States cities.
