Software Engineer, Android, Level 4

Location: Bellevue, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, or San Francisco, United States; office work expected 4+ days per week

Base salary: $133,000–$200,000, $149,000–$223,000, or $157,000–$235,000 annually, depending on pay zone; eligible for RSUs

What you will do

• Push the limits of mobile devices and build smooth, stable, engaging user experiences.
• Develop Android features from design through implementation and launch.
• Evaluate technical tradeoffs and collaborate with design on UI and infrastructure practices.
• Perform code reviews to maintain code quality, security, and production readiness.
• Use AI tools and high-velocity engineering workflows to design and ship scalable services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience, or equivalent graduate-level experience.
• Experience with Android application development.
• Experience using Kotlin, Java, RxJava, Dagger, and related Android development tools.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and audit AI-generated code for architecture, performance, and security risks.
• Ability to work from one of the listed United States locations and in an office 4+ days per week.
