Senior IT Project Manager (ServiceNow)

Location: 100% remote within the United States; candidates must reside and work in the U.S. Foreign locations and personal VPN connections are prohibited. Reston, Virginia is listed as the job location.

Salary: $119,323.00–$202,850.00 annually.

What you will do

• Lead delivery across one implementation and five Operations & Maintenance projects, coordinating planning, requirements, configuration, development, testing, release, and operational support.
• Manage scope, priorities, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate government stakeholders, end users, Product Owners, architects, analysts, developers, testers, and project teams.
• Lead requirements discussions, solution demonstrations, Agile and Scrum ceremonies, testing activities, feedback reviews, and issue resolution.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and ServiceNow-based solutions.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, metrics, and analytics while supporting configuration, development, troubleshooting, and solution validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or business.
• U.S. citizenship and current residence in the United States are required.
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• 10+ years of management experience, including 6+ years in release and configuration management of IT projects.
• 5+ years supporting federal clients on IT or software projects and 3+ years leading multiple teams.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification and Certified Scrum Master certification or equivalent Agile project delivery certification.

Nice to have

• Expertise with Agile Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
• Experience with Salesforce, Appian, ServiceNow, or other low-code/no-code platforms.
• Experience managing distributed teams, supporting federal IT programs, and working with geographically dispersed customers.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, operational reporting, dashboards, analytics, and business intelligence.
• Experience supporting software implementation, application modernization, and Operations & Maintenance initiatives.
