Senior Internal Communications Lead (Cybersecurity)

Location: New York, New York 10004; hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite

What you will do

• Lead the communications portfolio for Cyber, Data, Risk and Resilience, translating divisional priorities into audience strategies, messaging, channels, timing, and approvals.
• Draft, edit, fact-check, distribute, and archive executive messages, organizational announcements, newsletters, alerts, memos, intranet content, and campaign communications.
• Own recurring communications such as the “We Are CDRR” newsletter and support quarterly Open Forums, town halls, and employee engagement events.
• Coordinate cyber, information security, risk, and technology awareness campaigns across divisional, Technology-wide, and firmwide audiences.
• Manage stakeholders across divisional leadership, Chiefs of Staff, subject-matter experts, Technology Communications, and Corporate Communications.
• Track readership and campaign performance, conduct post-send reviews, and implement AI, automation, and agent-based tools to improve workflows.

Requirements

• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, fact-checking, and editorial judgment for executive and employee communications.
• Ability to translate cybersecurity, technology risk, data, fraud, and resilience topics into clear, actionable messaging.
• Experience managing end-to-end communications production, approval workflows, distribution records, calendars, and multiple concurrent deliverables.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed, global environment.
• Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive organizational, regulatory, cyber, risk, and leadership communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Copilot, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, content-management platforms, and AI-enabled workflow tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, technology, cybersecurity, risk, regulatory, or another highly controlled environment.
• Experience with internal, executive, or change communications in a large, complex organization.
