System Administrator II (Windows/Azure/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Administer Windows Server environments across production, staging, and development, including patching, configuration, lifecycle management, backups, certificates, storage, and capacity checks.
• Manage IIS and application server configurations, including application pools, bindings, logging, and performance settings.
• Support Kubernetes workloads, including pod troubleshooting, deployment support, and cluster health monitoring alongside DevOps.
• Perform Azure operations for virtual machines, storage, monitoring, access control, alerts, dashboards, and operational documentation.
• Respond to incidents, participate in rotating on-call coverage, execute change management, and contribute to post-incident reviews.
• Support production releases by validating environments, assessing risks, confirming rollback readiness, and improving deployment processes through automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a systems administrator or infrastructure engineer.
• Hands-on administration of Windows Server, Azure, Kubernetes, IIS, and Active Directory.
• Experience with Azure VM management, Azure Monitor, storage, RBAC, Kubernetes workload management, kubectl, and cluster observability.
• Experience supporting production deployments, including environment validation and rollback readiness.
• Ability to read logs, trace issues across systems, communicate findings clearly, and maintain runbooks and SOPs.
• Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Nice to have

• PowerShell or other scripting experience for administration and automation.
• Experience with ITSM or ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, or an equivalent Windows Server certification.
• Familiarity with EDI, supply chain platforms, or integration middleware.
