What you will do

• Prepare low-, medium-, and high-risk sterile compounds, including injections, infusions, ophthalmic preparations, and inhalation or irrigation solutions.
• Perform aseptic processes such as garbing, hand hygiene, cleaning, environmental monitoring, and verification testing.
• Use compounding equipment in cleanroom and non-sterile laboratory environments.
• Maintain required standards for strength, quality, purity, integrity, sterility, and endotoxin content.
• Manage compounding inventory and supplies and collaborate with sterile pharmacy staff.
• Follow company SOPs and work under the supervision of a sterile compounding pharmacist.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician registration and national pharmacy technician certification through PTCB or NHA (CPhT) are required.
• At least 1–3 years of sterile compounding experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent and age 18 or older.
• Familiarity with USP 795, USP 797, and USP 800 guidelines.
• Training or experience in aseptic technique and extemporaneous compounding; high-risk or Category 3 sterile compounding experience is preferred.
• Ability to wear PPE for prolonged periods, lift at least 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform varied physical movements.
