Scenario Framework & Simulation Orchestration Lead (Robotics)

Location: Irving, Texas (Dallas); full-time onsite work at the office five days a week. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

Salary: $128,470.00–$208,770.00 per year

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and implementation of reusable scenario frameworks for digital twin, robotics, autonomy, controls, and verification use cases.
• Define scenario schemas, APIs, SDKs, configuration models, contracts, workflows, and extensible plugin architectures.
• Build orchestration services for simulations, parameter sweeps, campaigns, parallel workloads, retries, lifecycle management, and results collection.
• Integrate the framework with NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim, Unreal Engine, ROS2, vehicle and machine models, sensors, and external simulation tools.
• Enable scenario authoring, debugging, versioning, packaging, publishing, deterministic replay, reproducibility, and automated evaluation.
• Lead technical reviews, troubleshooting, performance analysis, integration work, and delivery across autonomy, controls, platform, digital twin, and QA teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership of simulation, orchestration, or complex integration initiatives.
• Strong hands-on Python and C++ experience, including API design, reusable libraries, debugging, and production-quality development.
• Experience with simulation frameworks, workflow engines, distributed execution platforms, scenario generation, campaign execution, and repeatable simulation workflows.
• Knowledge of NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim, Unreal Engine, ROS2, Gazebo, CARLA, AirSim, or comparable technologies.
• Experience with distributed systems, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, artifact management, cloud or on-premises execution, SIL, HIL, test automation, and regression testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, software engineering, or a related discipline; ability to lead technical delivery and mentor engineers.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related discipline.
• Experience with metrics, KPIs, evaluation pipelines, experiment tracking, scenario coverage, and automated result analysis.
