Omniverse Platform Engineer (NVIDIA Omniverse)

Location: Full-time onsite at the Irving, Texas office five days a week. Domestic relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, configure, and support NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise services for digital twin and simulation engineering.
• Own Nucleus environments, access patterns, workspace organization, connectivity, monitoring, backups, and operational health.
• Develop USD asset pipelines for ingestion, conversion, validation, versioning, publishing, composition, and distribution.
• Build Omniverse Kit extensions, services, connectors, utilities, and automation using Python, C++, and supported SDKs.
• Develop Isaac Sim, Omniverse, headless, containerized, shared-GPU, and distributed rendering or simulation workflows.
• Integrate Omniverse with CAD, PLM, robotics, simulation, enterprise data, visualization, infrastructure, and QA systems while improving reliability, scalability, security, and observability.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Omniverse, Nucleus, Universal Scene Description (USD), Kit, or related platform capabilities.
• Software development experience with Python and C++, including reusable libraries, extensions, APIs, tools, and automation.
• Knowledge of USD composition, layers, references, variants, schemas, asset resolution, validation, and publishing workflows.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD, artifact management, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and operational support.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills across applications, extensions, assets, networks, GPU infrastructure, digital twin, robotics, rendering, platform, and QA teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Robotics, or a related field, with typically 5+ years of software or simulation platform experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Isaac Sim deployment, headless execution, containers, Omniverse Farm, GPU environments, or distributed workloads.
• Understanding of computer graphics, physically based rendering, PhysX, simulation assets, sensors, and digital twin workloads.
• Experience integrating Omniverse with CAD, PLM, rendering, robotics, simulation, or enterprise data systems.
