Capital Markets Managing Director I-Trading(IC)(F) (Mortgage Derivatives)

Location: In-office in Denver, CO or New York, NY

Base salary: $169,400.00–$343,200.00 per year, plus incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead trading strategy and execution for designated capital markets products, including Agency CMOs and mortgage derivatives.
• Manage mortgage trading portfolios, market risk, capital allocation, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and execute trading and hedging strategies with traders, sales, relationship managers, and investment bankers.
• Identify relative value opportunities, make markets, and maintain relationships with institutional buyers, sellers, and counterparties.
• Develop capital markets selling strategies to grow revenue and new business activity.
• Coach, develop, and mentor traders while supporting accountability for business results.

Requirements

• Typically 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Expertise in Agency CMOs, structured mortgage products, mortgage derivatives, interest-rate derivatives, trading strategies, and risk management.
• Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, or eligibility to obtain SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 within 120 days of hire.
• Employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available.
• Strong capabilities in financial analysis, financial engineering, business development, decision-making, and regulatory compliance.
