Infrastructure Solutions Architect Senior Manager

Location: Houston, Texas, United States. Hybrid work is required, combining in-person work in local hirify.global offices and client sites with remote work. Travel may include local and out-of-state client travel. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $137,000–$219,000 base annually, with a 14% bonus target and estimated total cash of $156,180–$249,660.

What you will do

• Design and implement integrated infrastructure solutions across applications, networks, cloud, and on-premises environments.
• Assess and document complex technology environments through dependency maps, architecture diagrams, system inventories, and application rationalization.
• Develop business continuity, disaster recovery, backup, replication, capacity, performance, and infrastructure right-sizing solutions.
• Translate business, compliance, vendor, and partner requirements into technical architectures and system configurations.
• Lead project work plans, supervise teams, mentor staff, conduct performance development, and coordinate third-party vendors.
• Build client relationships, support proposals and business development, and communicate risks and technical challenges to executives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience delivering technology or consulting solutions.
• 7+ years of experience in professional services or a related field.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure, networking, cloud and on-premises systems, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless.
• Recent hands-on administration of Windows Server and Linux, plus familiarity with VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, or comparable hypervisors.
• Experience with enterprise networking and security vendors such as Cisco, Meraki, HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
• Direct team leadership and supervisory experience, including mentoring, coaching, performance reviews, and cross-team coordination.

Nice to have

• Azure Solutions Architect, ITIL, or a similar professional certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access.
