Senior Advisor, Infrastructure & IT Operations (Top Secret)

Location: Washington, DC, United States. Travel: 10%.

What you will do

• Advise senior government and program leaders by translating mission priorities into technical options, requirements, and executable roadmaps.
• Lead infrastructure modernization, cloud, workplace technology, continuity of operations, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Evaluate network and infrastructure designs and guide teams toward sustainable enterprise-scale solutions.
• Improve ITIL-aligned service management using ServiceNow, monitoring platforms, and operational data.
• Serve as a senior escalation resource during major outages and provide executive reporting on performance, risk, and modernization priorities.
• Mentor technical leaders and strengthen accountability, collaboration, and operational ownership.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• 15+ years of progressive enterprise IT experience.
• 8+ years in technical or operational leadership roles.
• Experience across infrastructure, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and service operations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• Experience with classified national-security customers and federal agencies.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Citrix, Microsoft enterprise platforms, Azure Government, or AWS GovCloud.
• Experience leading infrastructure modernization, service transformation, continuity of operations, disaster recovery, or high-availability operations.
• Certifications such as ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CISM, CISSP, CCNP, CCNA, ServiceNow, Azure, or AWS.
