Sr. Product Manager I - Regulatory Reporting (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery for regulatory reporting products.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate new requirements into user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering on technical design, architecture discussions, sprint planning, backlog management, and delivery.
• Work with clients, compliance, and client-facing teams to gather requirements, support onboarding, and drive adoption.
• Define accurate, complete, and auditable data flows across trading, post-trade, operations, accounting, and reporting.
• Shape client-facing tooling, including data delivery, integrations, APIs, file formats, reporting interfaces, metrics, and product documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience with a strong technical product perspective.
• Background in regulatory reporting within financial services or fintech.
• Working knowledge of the investment lifecycle, including trading, operations, and reporting.
• Experience working daily with engineering teams in an agile environment.
• Experience working directly with external clients, gathering requirements, and managing expectations.
• Understanding of development architecture, workflows, data feeds, APIs, integrations, and reporting platforms.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with regulatory regimes including MiFID II, EMIR, Solvency II, Solvency UK, BSCR, Swiss Solvency Test, NAIC RBC, LICAT/MCT, and ESG regulations.
• Experience with data modeling, data quality frameworks, reporting, or analytics tooling.
• Experience with SaaS or platform products serving institutional investors, insurers, asset managers, or corporates.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, SQL, and BI platforms.
