What you will do

• Develop computer vision and machine learning algorithms and applications.
• Build proof-of-concept implementations, prototypes, and demos to advance technologies into practical, state-of-the-art systems.
• Develop perception and learning systems using 2D and 3D visioning for enterprise-grade, real-world deployment.
• Perform experiments and evaluations to quantify and validate improvements to existing systems.
• Collaborate with embedded systems, backend, and computer vision engineers to optimize implemented algorithms.
• Create automated software tests, troubleshoot software issues, and document algorithms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer vision or machine learning.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Foundation in computer vision, including at least two areas such as object detection, tracking and recognition, multiple-view geometry, 3D computer vision, SfM/SLAM, or activity recognition.
• Programming experience with Python, MATLAB, or C/C++.
• Experience with OpenCV, Point Cloud Library, Linux, Windows, or ROS platforms.
• Ability to work in the Holtsville, New York office 3 days per week.

• Initiative in identifying issues and reporting results independently.
• Strong presentation skills for prepared and on-demand talks.
