Quality Control Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform product testing on the production floor and in the laboratory using quality testing equipment.
• Conduct daily and military audits, floor checks, and rechecks of reworked parts.
• Use micrometers and calipers and support the calibration program.
• Maintain documentation, enter data, and prepare quality reports.
• Provide QC training, write and update quality procedures, and maintain control plans.
• Support process improvement initiatives using LEAN manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and basic math skills.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on quality control experience, or equivalent relevant skills.
• Computer skills, including email, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Access.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, self-starter, and motivational skills.
• Must already have work authorization permitting employment in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with LX or TOPS.
