Production Engineer, Catalyst

Location: Louisville, Kentucky, USA; onsite

Salary: $82,602–$110,136 annually, including base salary and annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Support daily performance of assigned catalyst production lines and troubleshoot process and equipment issues with operations teams.
• Improve process reliability, product quality, cost efficiency, safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental performance.
• Evaluate process and product modifications through the Management of Change process and support trials and investment projects.
• Investigate process abnormalities and customer quality concerns, then implement corrective actions.
• Develop process documentation and operating procedures and support operator training.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma tools, performance indicators, plant management systems, and applicable ISO standards to drive measurable improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
• More than two years of production or process improvement experience with hands-on improvements in chemical manufacturing.
• Understanding of chemical processing equipment, including pumps, filters, distillation columns, and dryers.
• Strong communication, collaboration, advanced computer, and Lean Six Sigma skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship now or in the future; sponsorship is unavailable.

• Controls systems experience.
• Catalyst experience is not required.
