Head of Strategic Finance and Corporate Development (SaaS)

What you will do

• Build the corporate development pipeline using market intelligence, portfolio analysis, and strategic partnership opportunities.
• Lead acquisitions and divestitures through valuation, due diligence, negotiation, closing, and integration or separation planning.
• Manage lender relationships, lender presentations, diligence responses, and reporting against financing commitments.
• Lead investor updates and presentations, shareholder engagement, board materials, and responses to investor questions.
• Evaluate capital structure, financing, refinancing, capital deployment, liquidity, leverage, and financial flexibility.
• Own long-range financial models, scenario analysis, investment cases, and team development.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive professional experience, including at least 5 years in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
• Experience leading acquisitions, divestitures, or other complex investments, with strong commercial judgment and negotiation skills.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, including financial statements, cash flow, capital structure, and investment returns.
• Credibility with executives and external counterparties, including the ability to explain complex issues and manage sensitive lender or investor discussions.
• Experience developing teams, working through ambiguity, maintaining accuracy under pressure, and staying personally involved in detailed work.
• Software or SaaS experience and experience in a private-equity-backed business are strongly preferred.
